Hey there, friend! I’m Sam: a mom, wife, home decor enthusiast, and newfound lover of modern minimalism with a hint of wannabe homesteader thrown in there. My primary role in life is homeschooling my two amazing boys, and even though it can get hectic, I absolutely adore it. Our life is a beautiful whirlwind, and this blog is all about finding balance and inentionality amidst the chaos.

I’m on a journey to inspire and empower other women who, like me, are doing their best to keep it all together. I never want anyone to feel like they aren’t “enough” while trying to do right by their family. My personal focus is on making better choices for my family, even if perfection isn’t always within reach (I’m an Enneagram One, so the perfection thing is a legitimate struggle).

The “crunchy” life and love for blogging started when my littles started having pretty severe skin issues while using regular disposable diapers. I switched to cloth, which led me down the path of crafting my own cleaning products and embracing essential oils. From there I moved to homemade baby food, DIY nut milks, and more. I’ve dabbled in it all, and my passion for holistic living keeps growing.

Living intentionally is my motto, whether it’s nourishing our bodies, spending quality time with our kids, or nurturing our faith. Here in this space, I hope we can engage in meaningful conversations and support one another in our goals. There’s a quote I’ve come to love: “Live the life you choose – not one you settle for.” It’s a constant reminder to focus on what truly matters and follow our calling.

They possessed a treasure trove of knowledge about home, health, and happiness – insights that have often been buried beneath the hustle and bustle of contemporary life.
